Current state of the project
The WEntre project aims at empowering women by developing their entrepreneurship skills through VET programs. It is making significant strides. Our journey so far has been marked by collaborative workshops, insightful research, and enthusiastic partnerships. Below, we share updates from the recent Transnational Partners Meeting and our second workshop.

We are excited to share highlights from the recent WEntre Consortium meeting, held in Uppsala, Sweden, from November 11th to 13th, 2024. Hosted by Folkuniversitetet, this gathering was a fantastic opportunity for our partners to assess the project’s progress and set our sights on future goals. Meeting Highlights:
Project Updates: The meeting kicked off with a comprehensive update on the current state of our project and an evaluation of the quality of the work completed to date.
Research Findings: Partners shared valuable research findings from Egypt’s national reports, shedding light on significant challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
Competence Framework Development: this framework incorporates 12 core competencies for women entrepreneurs, along with 5 additional competencies tailored for trainers. The aim is to foster entrepreneurial skills while addressing specific regional challenges.
Curriculum and E-Learning: We explored innovative templates and structures for a blended learning curriculum and user-friendly e-learning platforms. Our focus remains on ensuring that these materials effectively meet the needs of women entrepreneurs, particularly in Egypt.
